dropped my car off for service and told them exactly what needed to be fixed ( my dad used to be a mechanic but has bad injuries and can’t fix our cars anymore) waited for a quote and instead was told that before they take a look at the issue, there was a MANDATORY $200 diagnostic fee because they wanted to look the whole car over. I told them that was too much and asked politely if they would hold my vehicle until I could retrieve it. The guy I spoke to said yes they would hold it. Took me about a month to retrieve it and when’s I arrived at Kerry’s my care wasn’t nowhere to be found. They marked it as abandoned and sold it to a scrap yard. Had to pay the state $500. Horrible experience. Also later found out that they offer shuttle and towing service for customers. I called several times and there was never a mention or offer of any of these services.

There are several details missing and an inaccurate account of what occurred. Your vehicle was not "dropped off for service," it was towed to our store on September 1, 2016, no keys, a non working phone number and only the name Lola written on the tow bill. You made no contact until October 4, 2016, 34 days after it was abandoned in the parking lot. That same day we received the keys, a ticket was opened at 11:43 am, and an inspection performed. You did not "tell us exactly what needed to be fixed." You stated your vehicle overheated and was smoking. We found radiator cap was missing, low oil, heater core was leaking profusely, vehicle was hard to start and exhibited signs of no compression, there was no charge to you for the inspection. You were quoted 123.00 for further inspection and testing, you declined. The vehicle again was left abandoned. We never sold your vehicle to anyone, which is not our business practice, much more it would be unethical. We had no monies owed or billed and the vehicle was not in our keep. Sometime after Oct 4 and the end of 2016, it was no longer in the parking lot. There are signs posted that vehicles left abandoned would be towed. Ms. Richardson perhaps you have our facility confused with another being your 2000 Kia was at our shop well over 1 1/2 years ago. Our records are clear and documented. Ann Marie Morrison,GM.

Used Kerry s a few times. Always a pleasant event. They give an honest and fair evaluation of the vehicle and what the price will be. Never had a high pressure add-on. This shall be my go to auto shop.
